Deadline for applications for the FAOBMB Travel Fellowships this year is 31 August 2016.

Travel Fellowships are available for young biochemists and molecular biologists to participate in regular annual FAOBMB Conferences. The next such Conference at which FAOBMB Travel Fellowships are awarded will be the 25th FAOBMB Conference to be held in Manila, Philippines, during 5-7 December, 2016.

Applications for these fellowships are now invited from well qualified Graduate students/postdoctoral fellows/early career Biochemists and/or Molecular Biologists, from the FAOBMB region and not more than 40 years of age at the date of the application deadline (31 August 2016).

To be eligible to apply, in addition to meeting the age limit requirement, each applicant must be a member of a national Society or Group that is a Constituent Member of FAOBMB.

Successful applicants for these Fellowships in 2016 will each be given the opportunity to give an oral presentation on their research work in a session of the 25th FAOBMB Conference to be held in Manila in December 2016.
