FAOBMB Fellowships and Lectureships
The following Fellowships and Lectureship are available for members of your Constituent Society of FAOBMB. Please distribute this information to your members.
۱. Generic FAOBMB Education Special Travel Fellowships
The Generic FAOBMB Education Special Travel Fellowships are for participation in Conferences and Workshops on Education other than those organized by FAOBMB as an FAOBMB Congress or FAOBMB Conference.
(Please note: This call for applications is NOT for participation in the ۱۷th FAOBMB Congress to be held in Melbourne, Australia from ۲۲-۲۶ September ۲۰۲۴. Details on the Congress-specific FAOBMB Education Special Travel Fellowships have been circulated to all Delegates earlier.)

The deadlines for the receipt of applications for the Generic FAOBMB Education Special Travel Fellowships each year are:
۱ April for travel in July – December of the same year
۱ October for travel in January – June the following year
۲. FAOBMB Exchange Fellowships
FAOBMB Exchange Fellowships enable PhD candidates or scientists / educationists of not more than ۱۰ years post-PhD experience from Constituent Member countries to undertake collaborative research or learn particular skills from participating laboratories in the FAOBMB region. The fellowships will be awarded for an exchange program lasting between ۱ – ۶ months. Applications may be submitted at any time but should be at least four months prior to the visit period.

۳. FAOBMB Travel Lectureships
FAOBMB Travel Lectureships contribute towards the travel and accommodation expenses of accomplished and experienced biochemists and molecular biologists from the FAOBMB region. The Lectureship will enable them to spend a period of time in a host institution or institutions within a country of the FAOBMB region, lecturing on advanced research or educational approaches or technologies, of significance and relevance to the needs of the home country/institutions.
Applications may be submitted at any time but should be at least four months prior to the visit period.
